About the Founder

J. Anil Sagayanathan is a Chartered Accountant and Cost & Management Accountant with 25+ years of experience across corporate finance and personal wealth management.

His corporate experience spans 22 years in global institutions, including Standard Chartered Bank, Citi and Ford Business Services. His last corporate role was Vice President – Group Reporting at Standard Chartered. Over the years, he managed areas such as IFRS & management reporting, SOX audits, Internal audits, Liquidity reporting, and Forex analysis & payments. He exited corporate life in 2019 driven by a passion towards helping families achieve Financial Freedom.

Daanka Capital came into existence in July 2019. Since then, Anil has been working as a full-time Personal Finance Professional. He is an AMFI certified Mutual Fund Distributor and holds IRDAI certifications for Life Insurance and Health Insurance. Having experienced multiple market cycles since 2005, he brings practical calm and guidance during bull, bear and range-bound markets.
